
We look forward to sharing with you as a collective all the Teams insights and experiences. Ruffians was created in order to give a man what he wants from a haircut: a welcoming atmosphere, skilled hairdressers, stylish décor and friendly staff. The second shop was launched in Covent Garden in January 2014, and the third store is set to open in Marylebone in January 2016.
The main aim of Ruffians is to appeal to as many gents as possible, making their haircut the most relaxing it can be. A sociable drinking culture (not only alcohol!) is integral to our business, so we always have a drinks partnership on the go, offering whiskies, gins, beers and Scottish roasted coffee to our clients and friends a living-room style waiting area.
We are all about bringing barbering into the 21st century, by encouraging engagement with the brand by the events we host (pop-up dinners, pop-up bars) to the styles we create (as featured in national hairdressing competitions).
A happy team is a happy customer, so we hire only positive, engaging and passionate barbers who are willing to learn, grow and develop with the brand. It’s this sort of atmosphere that we are proud to cultivate and we hope that translates to the customer!
